Our weekly coffee mornings give women a secure forum to talk about, share, and gain knowledge from one another’s experiences. These are unofficial meetings that we conduct with experts. FGM, mental health, domestic abuse, reproductive health, and family law are among the significant subjects we cover.
The following are some examples of topics that were suggested and determined via group discussions: The effect of domestic abuse on children’s mental health
Gender dynamics within the community
Intergenerational connections
The “value” of a woman in the house, community, and family
Sexuality and sex
Community Engagement
