Working Together to Create Lasting Change

At Nistawi Women CIC, we believe meaningful and lasting change happens through collaboration.

We work with funders, public services, voluntary and community organisations, businesses, health providers, educational institutions and grassroots groups that share our commitment to creating safer, healthier and more equitable communities.

Our partnerships enable us to reach women, girls, children and families who can face significant barriers to accessing opportunities and support. Together, we develop practical, culturally informed and community-led solutions that respond to the realities people experience.

Why Partner with Nistawi Women?

Nistawi Women brings together community trust, lived experience and local knowledge with strong partnerships and professional delivery.

Our work particularly supports African and Caribbean communities and people affected by racial and gender inequality. We recognise that challenges rarely exist in isolation. Poverty, unemployment, health inequalities, social isolation, discrimination, digital exclusion and gender-based violence can overlap, requiring services to work together rather than in silos.

We help partners reach communities that may be less likely to engage with mainstream services, creating trusted spaces where people feel heard, respected and able to access the support they need.

Our approach is built around prevention, early intervention, empowerment and long-term change.

Thank You to Our Funders

The work of Nistawi Women CIC is made possible through the generous support and investment of our funders.

Their funding enables us to work alongside women, girls, children and families, particularly within African and Caribbean communities, to tackle racial and gender inequality, improve health and wellbeing, strengthen opportunities and provide support to people affected by Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

We are proud to work with funders who recognise the importance of community-led solutions and understand the value of investing in organisations that have strong relationships with the communities they serve.

Their support helps us to create safe and trusted spaces, deliver vital programmes, raise awareness, develop skills and opportunities, strengthen community organisations and ensure that the voices and experiences of women and girls are heard.
